Dr. Anastasia Thomas was born in Washington D.C. and was raised in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Thomas attended Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana studies, with a minor in Pre-Med and Psychology. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2002. Her podiatric training included two different residency programs at New York Methodist Hospital and Catholic Medical Centers. Dr. Thomas has been in practice for eleven years in the Atlanta, Georgia area and is board certified in both Podiatric Medicine and Foot Surgery. She is currently on staff at DeKalb Medical Center.
Dr. Thomas specializes in conservative and surgical management of various podiatric conditions, including heel and foot pain, diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, sprains, tendon repairs, bunions, and wound care.

Dr. Thomas lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys bowling, reading and going to her son’s baseball and basketball games. Since her son heavily participates in team sports, she has recently taken an active role in sports medicine and preventative care.
